Foodlink distributes millions of pounds of donated food every year to communities in need. Volunteers are needed to sort, inspect, and pack non-perishable food items before they are distributed. They may also be asked to assist with other special projects in the Distribution Center. Must be at least 13 to volunteer. A chaperon must register, accompany, and participate in the volunteer project with youth under 16. Couples and Families are required to register as individuals and not as a unit. The physical intensity of the project is considered high and will include frequent walking, standing, and lifting up to 25-50lbs.
