The Foodlink Community Kitchen prepares and delivers thousands of meals daily for students in the City of Rochester. Volunteer duties for this project include: preparing cold/hot meals, laying out meal trays, sealing trays, packing coolers, and cleaning. The physical intensity of this project is considered HIGH and will involve walking, standing, bending, twisting, and lifting up to 20-50lbs continuously. Volunteers must wear closed-toed shoes and bring a light jacket. They should also avoid wearing torn/dirty clothing, long/painted fingernails, fake lashes, and jewelry when participating in this project. Piercing/open or bleeding wounds must be covered. Must be at least 18 to volunteer.
